Lara Tavares (Founder & CEO, STL) participated in Careforce International’s “Caring for Kenya” project at the Mulli Children's Family Orphanage (MCF) in Ndalani, Kenya.

What is so special about MCF?
• MCF is an internationally recognized organization that has successfully rescued and rehabilitated more than 700 orphaned street children with another 1200 currently under its care.
• MCF is a non-profit, non-governmental enterprise that provides quality education, food, skills training, health care and more to the children under its care and to the surrounding community.
• All faiths or beliefs: MCF welcomes, with open arms, all faiths, tribes and histories, with no judgment.
• MCF is a rehabilitation centre for street children and orphans affected by abuse, abandonment and neglect, and who suffer from or have been left orphaned by HIV/AIDS.
• To date the organization has positively affected over 4000 children who would have otherwise been left to the streets.
• MCF has been recognized by the Canadian International Development Agency (CIDA) and World Vision International for its remarkable achievements.
